Jaguar X Type

     A truly compact executive model, the Jaguar X-Type which happens to be the smallest of the Jaguar Saloon versions was manufactured since 2001. Based largely on the Ford CD 132 platform, this remarkable car has a styling that has been found similar to the XJ. Most of its parts are undoubtedly credited to Ford with Jaguar only holding a minority of them. Mainly designed with an intention to compete with the BMW 3 series, Audi A4, and Mercedes Benz C-Class, the Jaguar X-Type was marked by the inclusion of an all wheel drive system which resulted in the ideal distribution of power to the front and rear wheels. Fitted with V6 petrol engines the X-type offers a choice of 2.5 and 3.0 litre petrol versions as well as a 2.2 litre diesel version. The power output of all the versions are quite impressive and results in some sharp and easy handling of the car. The diesel engine is also available in an Estate version of the X-Type which offers a sort of exceptional superiority and style.
